Run by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust at its lakeside Nature Discovery Centre, these themed home-education days offer a full day of outdoor learning across the reserve's woodland, reedbed and lakeside habitats. Sessions are led by Trust education staff and cover topics such as senses, minibeasts and seasonal nature, with hands-on activities, live creatures and seed planting. Booking is per event via the BBOWT website (around £10 per child; accompanying adult free); the site is buggy- and most-wheelchair-accessible but can be muddy.
