Dedicated Home Educated sessions at this large family activity farm and birds-of-prey centre just over the Beds border, recommended to Hitchin/North Herts HE families. Across a block of sessions children meet and work with farm animals (sheep, goats, alpacas, donkeys, rabbits and smaller mammals) and many species of birds of prey โ handling and flying owls, hawks, eagles and falcons and learning about adaptations, hunting techniques and conservation. Sessions are hands-on (mucking out, feeding, animal care) and led by the centre's keepers and falconers.
