We’re Lauren and Kyle, the former classroom teachers behind Altitude Academics. We offer personalised online tutoring and academic coaching: Lauren teaches maths and science, while Kyle teaches English, writing, Spanish, history and the humanities. We help students deepen their understanding, build confidence and develop independent learning skills. We welcome home-educating families seeking support that fits their approach, interests and goals. For students preparing for tests or exams, we also offer revision support and practical strategies for managing test anxiety. We encourage students to not only build skills, but to use these skills to build a life around what matters to them. Based in Durango, Colorado, USA, we offer UK appointments between noon and 3 pm for most of the year, subject to availability. Exact times are confirmed when booking to account for seasonal clock changes. We are also open to late-hour bookings upon request.
